The business started in December of 1983, when Clarence Crow contacted Harley-Davidson about opening a dealership in Terre Haute, IN. After many communications between the Motor Company and Clarence, the store opened its doors at 1101 Margaret Avenue on President's Day 1984. Wabash Valley Harley-Davidson was born. The new showroom was adorned with products from motorcycles to leathers. Not very long after the opening of the store, it was bursting at the seams! That was the beginning of many expansions. In 1994, it was apparent a new facility was needed to serve our expanding customer base. Our next location was purchased at 1616 Wabash Avenue in July of 1993. Another remodel project was underway. After much work, the new location opened in January 1994 with a design to take your breath away! Once again, the store outgrew itself. The building next door was purchased and remodeled. The store consisted of over 28,534 square feet. Our latest expansion consisted of acquiring a strip mall and remodeling to serve our purposes. The new building is just 1/2 mile south of I-70 on US Hwy 41 and we settled in July 2003. The newest location is over 32,000 square feet and sports a state of the art Diagnostic Service Center. The showroom floor is designed to show off all the latest models of Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. The fully stocked Parts and Accessories Department makes it easy to find everything you need to dress out and maintain your ride. Also, with the MotorClothes® Apparel Department receiving new shipments daily, you are sure to find what you need to dress yourself as well.
